This graph shows the gross reduction in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions due to the increase in renewable transport consumption from 2005 to 2017. It clearly shows that GHG emissions have been reducing annually since 2010. The avoided GHG emissions in Europe peaked in 2015 at 40 Mtoe, and is expected to reduce further in 2017 to 45 Mtoe.
